Mefux Technologies is seeking a Part-Time Linux Administrator with strong expertise in managing and optimizing cloud-based environments. The role involves maintaining Linux servers across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.) across cloud platforms.

  • Manage automated backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery testing.

  • Perform server migrations between on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot system and network issues.

  • Configure and maintain firewalls, SSL/TLS, SSH access, and user permissions.

  • Automate server tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible scripts.

  • Collaborate with developers on deployment and infrastructure scaling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Linux Administrator (cloud environments preferred).
